Pony Boy
Blended Farmhouse Ale
6.4% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint 0.9 Fl Oz
"You gotta help me, man. Things have been hard here since you've been gone. This new guy isn't playing around. He really wants to take my toys away!"
Pony Boy started life as a grisette before being blended with a small proportion of biere de miel. We then refermented this farmhouse ale with Brett Bruxellensis and let it condition for an additional 12 months. The resulting beer is bone-dry, spritzy, and light in body, with waves of sweaty horse blanket and barnyard funk dominating up front. Notes of vanilla custard, spice, and subtle, fruity esters round out the finish.
Strong Man
Belgian Golden Strong Ale
8.3% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint 0.9 Fl Oz
"Ever gotten into a staring contest with a bull and won? Ever ridden a bear through the Taiga, shirtless? Well, I have. We'll make a man out of you yet, snowflake."
Bottle conditioned for 6 weeks, Strong Man is effervescent and dry, with a dense, pillowy head. Saaz hops pair perfectly with the spicy, floral Achouffe yeast, while a flourish of Huell Melon hops provide a bright, fruity finish. Wafts of Bartlett pear, overripe banana and melon give way to undercurrents of tarragon and fresh cut hay.
Obscura
Schwarzbier (Dark Lager)
4.9% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"Our black lager is wrapped in a bandana so no one on your mid-afternoon conference call will know that you're drinking "at work." Obscura is very drinkable so you can stay highly productive, all while keeping a safe distance."
The latest iteration of our schwarzbier was lagered for 7 weeks and brewed with a blend of traditional Bavarian and English specialty grains. The end result is a perfect balance between bready malts and restrained roast character. Crisp, nutty, chocolatey goodness!
Fear of Going Out
DDH Double India Pale Ale
8.0% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"Dinner at Bernie’s on Friday? Yeah, um, I’m not sure I’m ready for that. I don’t really do crowds anymore. What if we just ordered in and watched a movie? I know this great animated… Wait you’re sick of takeout? AND you think I have terrible tastes? Wow. To think we quarantined together."
The perfect IPA for when you choose Netflix over spending time with your friends. Hopped throughout with Bru-1, Mosaic and Sabro hops. Bursting with flavors of clementines, persimmons and sweet mangos, with undercurrents of honeysuckle and Thai coconut.
Edge of Tartness
Fruited Sour Ale
6.2% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"I think we should talk. Do you realize you forgot your own birthday? It was yesterday! All you do is work and when you’re not working, you’re whining about work. Don’t you miss complaining about your friends and family, too? Here, have some cake. We saved you a slice."
Our latest fruited sour was brewed with hibiscus and conditioned on over 1200lb of blueberries and raspberries. Deep magenta in color and wonderfully pungent. A dry hop of Australian Enigma ups the intensity and adds some earthy nuance. Pleasantly sour and very refreshing!
Yes Man
Zwickelbier (Unfiltered Lager)
4.9% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"You really think every thought I share, no matter how dumb, confounding or irrational it may be, is a great idea, don't you? Or are you just so desperate for approval that you'll agree to anything? Either way, I like it. You're hired."
Like the zwickelbier of tradition, ours is unfiltered and pale gold in color, with a crisp, malty base. Small additions of Hallertau Mittelfruh hops offer a touch of bitterness and whiffs of noble spice character. Immensely crushable!
Second Best Friend
DDH Double India Pale Ale
7.6% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"Well, Chad, that was probably the worst first date I’ve ever been on. Remind me why you set us up again? She works in ad tech (whatever that is). Her drink? Appletini. Her favorite show? Friends. I’m not asking for much, but come on man—I thought we were buds!"
Massive additions of Citra Cryo, Mosaic and Vic Secret hops have created an IPA that is bursting with notes of overripe mango, orange peel, pineapple, and lychee. Balanced by a resinous finish, with just enough malt character to remind you that "juice" you're drinking is still beer!
Splitting Hairs
Oak Conditioned Helles Lager
4.8% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"I think the oak is a really nice touch. I’d rate this one a 3.75 out of 5. Which is almost a 10 on the lager scale. So good job, really. Not to split hairs, but even the absolute best lager can’t compete with the nuance and subtle complexity of your typical Hazy. You understand. "
Our newest Helles was lagered on American white oak for six weeks and was brewed with traditional heirloom malts. The end result is deliciously crisp and biscuity, with restrained notes of vanilla, honeycomb, and toast on the nose. Delicate, floral hops round out the finish.
Sponge Worthy
Fruited Sour Ale
5.5% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"Yes I’m upset, can’t you tell? I eat well. I exercise. And if I can speak frankly, I’m not unskilled— I know how to press those buttons, buddy! I could have given you some pointers. That’s a shame. Yada yada— You gonna do something about your sideburns?"
Conditioned on heaps of raspberries, black currants and a dash of orange zest. Magenta in color and refreshingly sour, with an effervescent finish. Wafts of raspberry jam dominate, with undercurrents of fresh cut citrus and rose petals.
The Dude Abides
WC Double India Pale Ale
7.6% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"Yeah, the world's gone to hell, man. Fires, floods, droughts, thunder snow. And somehow Survivor is still on the air? Travesty. And yet, through it all, The Dude abides. Take comfort in that, man. The Dude— takin' it easy for all us sinners, you know? Guess we'll catch ya later down the trail."
Our latest West Coast IPA is a throwback to the Sonoma County IPAs that we grew up on and still adore. Loaded with Talus, Amarillo Cryo and Loral hops, this beauty is loaded with flavors of pithy tangerine, ruby red grapefruit, spruce tips and rose buds. Pleasantly bitter, with a malty, dry finish.
Flannel Shirt
NW Red India Pale Ale
6.8% Alc./Vol. 1 Pint
"Cue Nirvana. Sip. Repeat."
Pouring a beautiful ruby red, Flannel Shirt is our homage to a Pacific Northwest staple. Simcoe, Mosaic and Columbus hops showcase layers of citrus, cannabis, and resinous, earthy pine. This bold hop trio is backed by just enough caramel and roasted malts to keep things in balance.
